West Ham stun West Bromwich Albion with remarkable comeback
West Ham United made a remarkable comeback as they fought back from three goals down to earn an astonishing 3-3 draw against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Saturday.  It was truly a tale of two halves. WBA dominated the first half and scored three
goals just 32 minutes into the game, while the Hammers replicated the Baggies performance in the second half.
The match was of immense importance in the context of the relegation battle. New WBA Boss Roy Hodgson, who takes over from the next game, watched the game from the stands. West Ham skipper Matthew Upson missed out because of an Achilles injury, while James
Tomkins and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Demba-Ba-c10812 made his first start of the season.
It took just three minutes for the game to produce a goal. WBA opened the scoring courtesy Graham Dorrans, who picked the ball up from 30 yards out and drilled it past http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robert-c31222 Green and into the roof of the net.  WBA came close to a quick second when Peter
Odemwinge forced Green into a low save with a shot from the right wing.
The hosts didn’t have to wait too long though before doubling their advantage. West Ham surrendered possession in the middle of the park and Marc-Antoine Fortune collected the ball to tee up Jerome Thomas, who curled a shot from outside the box to make it
2-0 for the Baggies in the eighth minute.
WBA completely dominated the game in the first half hour as the Hammers struggled to get out of their own half. The home side tripled their lead just after the half hour mark, when Dorrans’s 35-yard free kick took a heavy deflection off West Ham defender

At that stage the Hammers looked dead and buried. However, the visitors did come close to pulling one back just before the half time whistle, but Boaz Myhill somehow managed to tip Demba Ba’s powerful strike onto the post to deny the Hammers. WBA took a
3-0 lead into half time and the game looked to be over.
West Ham came out looking more positive in the second half. Ba pulled one back within the opening five minutes, after a floating cross from Mark Noble was coolly slotted low past Myhill. West Ham United looked like a totally different team after the break
as they constantly threatened the host’s goal. Carlton Cole scored the second for West Ham soon after, as the game took another twist. Federic Piquionne headed the ball into Cole’s path, who nodded it home from close range to make it 3-2 for the visitors.
The Hammers continued to pile on the pressure, as WBA looked completely out of sorts. Seven minutes from time, Ba equalised for the visitors when he smashed home from Mark Nobel’s looping cross. West Ham United completed a remarkable comeback which was similar
to Newcastle’s performance against Arsenal last week. The game ended at 3-3.
However, the result didn’t change the Premier League table much. West Ham United stay in the relegation zone with 25 points, while WBA are one spot above the danger zone with 27 points.
