West Indians challenge Pakistan with a target of 151 in the only Twenty20 match – 1st innings report
The West Indians have posted a reasonable total of 150 runs against Pakistan in the only Twenty20 match, being played today, on Friday, the 21st of April at Beausejour Stadium, St Lucia.
Lendl Simmons and Darren Bravo shined with the bat for hosts as they scored 65 and 42 respectively.
Both teams are resting senior players in an attempt to give youngsters a chance.

The Men-in-green, following up on their strategy for the 2011 World Cup, started with a spinner early in the innings. The strategy paid off for them when Fletcher was trapped by Abdur Rehman in the second over.
Bravo came in on number three while Simmons launched the counter attack, smashing Junaid for a four and a six.
His attacking approach forced to bowlers to try and restrict the score rather than look for wickets.
Simmons continued to attack the Pakistani bowling attack as the West Indians reached 47 runs at the end of the 6th over for one loss.

The Caribbean side was well on course for a big score, piling up 75 runs half-way through the innings with nine wickets in hand.
The pair was unable to lead their partnership across the 100-run mark as Rehman struck once again, scalping the valuable Bravo.
The Pakistani bowlers pulled up their socks and it seemed as if the hosts would not be able to reach the 150 mark when Simmons got run out in 15th over.
Wahab Riaz, the left-arm pacer, added to their woes by bowling a maiden 16th over.
The host lost a wicket in each over from the 17th over onwards, finishing at 150 and losing seven wickets in the process.
