With the Windies needing just 5 to win, Dinda’s penultimate over changed the match where the right-arm bowler conceded just four runs, forcing a thrilling tie.
In the Super Over, the Bengali bowler was again entrusted to bowl, and for the second time, went for just four, allowing the Indian batsmen to achieve an easy victory which seemed unlikely for the best part of the game.

All changed in the last over where Dinda took centre stage, claiming the all-important wicket of the Windies’ opener, who made 82, while keeping things tight. With the sudden shift in momentum, it was the away side which came on top, taking a sharing of the spoils in the most unlikely manner.
Dinda, for his superlative display, was awarded with the Player of the Match accolade.
