On Saturday, January 21, 2012 Jamaica won the first semi-final of the ongoing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 domestic Caribbean T20 tournament against Windward Islands by five wickets after successfully chasing a target of 99 runs at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
After winning the toss, Windward Islands chose to bat first as they aimed to subdue their opposition by bolstering a humungous tally on the board against a decent Jamaican bowling attack.
However, the Jamaican bowlers wrecked Windward Islands plans as they gave a sensational bowling performance and prevented the batting side from taking the game away by posting a tough total on the board.

From Windward Islands, wicketkeeper/batsman Lindon James was the highest scorer with an unbeaten knock of 37 runs to his name as his team ended their innings by posting 98 runs on the board.
Coming out to bat, Jamaica needed to bat calmly in order to successfully chase this meagre total and earn a place in the final of the tournament.
Openers Nkrumah Bonner and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Danza-Pacino-Hyatt-c52396 gave their team a decent stand of 33 runs before Windward Islands dismissed both batsmen as Hyatt perished after playing an innings of 14 runs, while Bonner lost his wicket after amassing 19 runs.
With both batsmen back in the pavilion, it was time for the middle-order batsmen to take lead and help their side march towards an imminent victory.
