The http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 coach, Ottis Gibson has advised his batsmen to keep rotating the strike when playing against India’s lethal spin attack next month.
The Caribbean batting line-up struggled against Pakistan spin attack in the recently concluded series and the coach is now wary of the deadly spin attack of the World Champs which is being spearhead by prolific spinner, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harbhajan-Singh-c61453.
The 42-year-old Barbadian advised his batsmen not to allow the Indian attack to bowl too many dot balls and keep rotating the strike to counter the opposition bowlers.
"…we need to be able to rotate the strike against the spinners a lot more and make sure that the bowlers aren't bowling too many balls in succession to us,” said Gibson. "We as a batting group have to play spin better,” he added further.
The Windies coach said that it has not been a long time when the Caribbean bowlers used to counter the world class spin attack. He said that they have been scoring runs against spin before. Gibson said that all that is needed is to have a clear game plan

"Sometimes, we look very tentative and we sort of lock ourselves in a hole and then our only response is to try to hit ourselves out of the hole. We got to find the balance between attack and defence," said the former West Indies pacer.
