West Indies squad for Bangladesh announced, Chris Gayle ignored again – Cricket News Update

According to the WICB, “The outstanding matter relating to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/CH-Gayle-c1221’s availability and selection remains unresolved. The WICB management will submit a report to the board of directors after which a conclusive statement will be made.”
The veteran all-rounder last represented his team in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 World Cup 2011, but was dropped from the team since then. He took part in the cash rich Indian Premier League (IPL) and powered his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to the final of the
event.
The thunderous performances of Gayle were not enough for the board to recall him for national duty. The star player will now represent his IPL franchise in the Champions League Twenty20 tournament.
However, wicketkeeper batsman Denesh Ramdin has been recalled. He is currently representing his club http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-George-Burrows-c93472rinidad & Tobago (T&T) in the Champions League. He is the only keeper in the One Day International (ODI) and Tewnty20 squad, but will have competition from
Carlton Baugh in Test matches.

However, Bravo was simply ignored for selection despite being available for national duty.

Off-spinner Shillingford will make his return to international cricket after his action was declared illegal by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The series will start from October 7, 2011 and will comprise of one Twenty20, three ODIs and two Tests.
