On Wednesday, April 11, Australia created history in Test cricket once against by grabbing a stunning winning under fading light against West Indies from a losing position by successfully chasing 192 runs to win the game on the final day of the first Test at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
The way things had proceeded on the initial days of the first Test of the three-match series, the contest was seemingly heading towards a draw, but Australia had other plans as they looked pumped and raring to grab a win on the final day.
West Indies after having ended the fourth day on a tally of 71 for the loss of five wickets, were looking to end the game in a draw. But their plans were rattled when Australia made early inroads and started grabbing wickets right from the word go.
