West Indies won their first match of the three-match one-day series against Bangladesh by 40 runs on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Bangladesh.
This victory came after the tourists West Indies lost the only T20 match of their Bangladesh tour by three wickets on Tuesday, October 11, 2011.
