The 27-year old Bravo burst into the scene of international cricket in 2004 and since then he has been a permanent member of the Caribbean team in all the formats of the game. He is considered as one of the top all-rounders of the game
because of his abilities to perform in pressure situations. On top of that, Bravo is one of the most athletic fielders in the cricket arena.
Star cricketer believes that the current schedule of cricket all around the world is very tough on cricketers and rest is absolutely vital to keep going at the highest stage of the game.
Bravo is going to use this free time to prepare for the Test series against India which is going to start on the 20th of June in Jamaica.
"Sometimes in international cricket, because of the hectic schedule, it is difficult to catch form in the middle of tournaments and series, so I just asked for a break from the game for the remainder of the ODI series and look to rejoin
the team for the beginning of the Test series", Bravo added.
