West Indies v India – 5th ODI – Bowlers to watch out for
West Indies and India will be up against each other on Thursday in the last of the five match One Day International (ODI) series at Kingston, Jamaica.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 has already sealed the series by winning the first three matches, while the Caribbean team bounced back in the fourth ODI at Antigua to avoid a whitewash.
Both the teams have a young bowling attack and their spinners have dominated the series so far. Some of the bowlers to watch out for in the last match are:
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/A-Mishra-c871
The right arm leg spinner has been a revelation in the ODI series so far and bowled like a true champions against the young Caribbean batsmen. Mishra is the leading wicket taker of the series so far as he has grabbed nine scalps in four matches at a brilliant
average of 17 runs per wicket. Leg spinners are usually expensive but Mishra has an economy rate of 3.82 runs per over, which is absolutely stunning for a wrist spinner.
He has all the variety under his belt and one should not be surprised if he troubles http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DJG-Sammy-c1382 and company one again in the last match of the series.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/P-Kumar-c2143
Kumar missed the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Cricket World Cup 2011 because of an elbow injury but he looks to be in great shape at the moment. The right arm medium pacer seems to have immense control over the new ball and does tend to swing the ball both ways at will. He took
three wickets for just 37 runs in the fourth ODI and did not give anything away to the West Indian batsmen to work with.

The 28-year old leg spinner from Antigua came up with a match-winning performance in the previous match as he took four wickets to break the back of the Indian middle order. He is an enthusiastic cricket who gives a lot of pride to his game. With the sort
of confidence he has at the present moment, one should not be surprised to see him play a big role at Jamaica, where the spinners do get some assistance.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andre-Dwayne-Russell-c44235
The young and athletic fast bowler has emerged as a top-class all-rounder for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 in the current series. His performances with the bat seem to have given a boost to his confidence as a bowler as well, which was quite evident in the previous ODI where
he picked up three vital wickets. He is now considered as the future of West Indies cricket because of his skills in all the three departments of the game.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Russell-c87177 is fast and does have the ability to surprise the batsmen with his bounce and pace. He is bound to be effective against India as their batsmen are not at their best against quality fast bowlers.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed and see which of these bowlers come up with a match-winning effort in Jamaica.
