Sri Lankan Women secured their maiden win of the 5-match T20 series, bringing down http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 women in the fourth T20 International by 14 runs, played at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port Of Spain, Trinidad.
After relinquishing the series with three consecutive losses, the tourists faced an uphill task of claiming victory in the fourth game. Their batting malfunctions had been evident all tour and it came hardly as a surprise when they were bundled out on another
lowly score – 94.
They were well on course for another thumping defeat after the Windies had posted 50 for 1. However, an unforeseen change of events saw the Lankans make a sterling comeback – halting the hosts on 80 for 9.
The tourist again kept a similar tone – opting to bat first after winning the toss. The opening pair also offered the same, sluggishly posted 17 in 4.4 overs before the first breakthrough was made by Subrina Munroe, who cleaned up Chamari Atapattu.

From being 52 for 2, the hosts lost their way inexplicably. Her debut performance turned the game in her team’s favour, limiting

The final game will be played at the same venue and the Lankans will be hoping to end the tour on a respectable note.
