  1. You should definitely do it, as is, and then go get your RB like you said.  The value is just there, plain and simple.  The only player of consequence you give up is Brian Westbrook, but you get 2 solid running backs (either of which border on studs if things go right) plus a stud WR (Plax) plus semi/could be stud Andre Johnson.  Personally, I think you're getting the better end here, and if you deal for a running back afterward like you said, you've got yourself a true contender here.

BTW, Cutler has a lot more upside than Garrard IMO; he is poised for stardom.

    Hope this helps.

  2. This is a great deal for you, except for the fact that he will have Ap and Westbrook, which will worry you if you're looking for first place.

The reason he's trading Andre Johnson and Plaxico Burress is because they are injury prone, whereas Westbrook has been healthy all his career.  The fact that you are getting Fred Taylor and Jones-Drew helps out your RB position a **** load too, and since the NFL has turned into a 2 RB league, WR's can be much more important to get.

Also, make sure you start Cutler over Gerrard.  Gerrard may not throw interceptions, but he will never give you the outstanding performance that you will probabaly get from Cutler at least 3 times this season.  Plus, Cutler will have a better defense to work with this year, and some better RB's will help the passing game.

Jason Witten is also great, dont dish him out for any other TE, hes the best.

  3. I would do it... you upgrade a lot at WR and that gives you one amazing group of WRs, so that you could easily trade one and get a good RB and not lose any ground... i would go for it!!

  4. i think trading westbrook is a mistake because he will have a great year top 3 rbs, and those others guys look like reserves to me.  as for WR, youll need someone to replace smith for the first few games but other than that your WRs dont look too bad.  cutler just lost marshall, his best WR so his value drops.   i didnt really like him in the first place, the broncos offense needs alot of work.  now that chambers has been working with rivers for awhile he'll prob get more looks so keep him. hasselbeck looks alright, so seems to me your team looks fine

  5. Counter with Westbrook,S.Smith (bust),C.Johnson (another possible bust),Chambers,Garrard,and Akers  for AP,A.Johnson,P.Burress,Cuttler,and Grahm

You'll be giving 6 for 5,and losing all 3 of your starting WRs.But Engram is atleast as good as Chambers, and combined with Andre Johnson+Plaxico you'll have a potent trio at WR.Then grab a sleeper to replentish your bench.(For a list of sleepers check this web page out

  6. take the deal.
