Who would you pick out of these two at the 3rd spot. Tom Brady is going 1st in my draft and LT 2nd. So what do you think I should do? Im leaning towards Westbrook because of his proven track record.

  1. Peterson is great and all but its Fantasy so go with Westbrook.  Should consider Joseph Addai and Steven Jackson also.

  2. 1. Westbrook is angry over his contract and plays in a really tough division with a QB that has been hurt 4 years in a row. If (when) McNabb goes down Westbrook will struggle. Stay away from him, he had a career year and only one way but down.

    2. AP broke the NFL single game rushing record-as a rookie!!! The guy plays through injuries, has the best OLine in the league, plays in a division of weak defenses (and yes Im talking about ****-cago too!), has an improving QB (or possibly Farve hahaha).

Bottom line all who pass on Adrian Peterson are really buggin out hard!!!!!!!!

Go watch some highlights from AP and get with the program because running backs from Texas are the best in the world. IE Tomlinson, Emmit Smith, Priest Holmes, Walter Payton, Adrian Peterson.

I dont mean to be rude, but its just tough love baby!!!

good luck this year with AP.

  3. There are some great suggestions here already.  In a PPR league, you have to thing hard about Westbrook.  Steven Jackson could also be poised for a huge year.  He could easily finish the season as the #1 RB.  However, I vote for Adrian Peterson.  He has young fresh legs.  Westbrook always seems to miss time and he is a bit undersized.  I still like him as a high draft pick, but I would rather have Peterson.  The thing about Jackson is that he has an injury prone QB and an offensive line that can get banged up.  Orlando Pace should be healthy, but you never know.  If Pace gets injured, Jackson could suffer another season like the one he has in 2007.

  4. In a PPR league, I would consider Westbrook but really, its Peterson either way. His potential is just too good to pass up in my opinion. The Vikings are a running team and Peterson will get a lot of carries and therefore a lot of yards and TDs. Injury is a concern but any player in the NFL can be injured on any play.....except the Kickers....

  5. I'd also go with westbrook. I'm not sure how much you can trust a player who's had 1 good season. Plus westbrook not only runs the ball but catch it out on the flat and run wr patterns.

  6. u might want to think about steven jackson over those guys. he is on a contract year which normally makes players play harder than usual. he was one of the top RB's not 2 long ago and he seems to really be feeling good this year. AP is over hyped, he is very injury prone and all u have to do is go back to college. wasnt he one of the guys that seemed to always be hurt? u know, the guy with huge upsided but never seemed to be healthy. westbrook could have a huge year and if u dint want to even take a cance on jackson go for brian he is the proven guy. plus he can catch, he got 3 or 4 receiving td's!!! and got over 700 receiving yds. check it ur self, i aint lying. not only that he was very good rushing the ball with like 1100 rushing yds and 7 td's. he is a good one. now i know i havent made much of a case for AP but i feel obligated to point this out. he no longer has to worry about chester taylor cuz AP is the guy there. he wont be loosing touches to taylor and therefore he could have an even bigger year... if thats even pissoble. well, i gave u numbers and how i feel about each player. ill leave the decision to u man, good luck.
