Western Digital Passport Odel WD1200U017 120GB PORTABLE. write errors and takes very long to copy files even with over 40gb space left on it. I have run scandisk (chkdsk) with options for thorough scan and fix errors and this still did not work. I also reformated the drive and tried the scandisk and this still did not resolve the problem. The problem seems to be really bad and apparant when copying large files anything from 500Mb to 1 Gb. I bought drive in mar 2006 so it is just over 2 years now but problems first occured around August/Sept 2007. Thanks lexdon
