  1. try posting in different gaits

  2. Try sitting back on your back pockets more.  That should bring your stomach back a little bit and that will keep your back straight.  For western you want to be sitting back a little bit more than in english where you're forward and strattling the horse.  You want to use your seat to ride Western... you really want to be sitting on your butt instead of rotating your pelvis forward.

You should however have some bend in your back... it shouldn't be perfectly straight.  If you show, they like to see that you do have some bend in the lower part of your back.

Relax back onto your pockets and kind of recline a little instead of trying to stay perfectly vertical.  It's a fine line to find the perfect position... without seeing you ride, I can't give you perfect advice... just experiment with what I said and see if it helps.  Good luck.

  3. I think this is the type of thing you should call your doctor about. That mey help. Good Luck!
