  1. The Toshiba is the rose in this weed patch. The other two are third tier, "junk" TVs. The two best 32" LCDs, in BOTH performance and reliability, are Panasonic and Sony. Next, and a little less expensive, is Toshiba followed, perhaps, by Sharp and maybe Samsung. Stay away from Westinghouse and Vizio like the plague! http://www.hdguru.com/your-new-disposabl...

  2. Vizio = junk. I use to work closely with the RMA service provider for Vizio in Southern California.  We use to handle all the returned Vizio's from Costco, TigerDirect, and Walmart.  I've never seen so many TV's returned because of poor quality in my life.  How many?  They have 1 warehouse that's known for inspection.  They have 2 other gigantic warehouses that are not known but kept because they ran out of space.

    Westinghouse = junk.  Same story as above.  I also worked with the RMA company that handled their logistics, their offices were only a 15 minute drive from the Vizio office- just not a very good quality.

    Toshiba = better, but not best.  Definitely better than the two above.

    RMA = Returned Merchandise Assignment.

    If you're on a budget and these are all you can afford, go with the Toshiba - but an FYI - check Walmart's website - the have 40 inch Sony Bravias on sale now for around $1100.  Pretty darn good deal there.
