Westmead Aouita confident to claim Midi title – Henlow Preview
Westmead Aouita is quite confident to claim the ace title of Bedford Road Midi, a high-voltage contest that will go down at Henlow track tonight, April 19.
The Open Race over a distance of 550 meters is scheduled to start at 21:45 (GMT). For the prize cheque of £150, Westmead Aouita will be able to outpace five strong rivals such as Young Vicarious, Lughill Lass, Merlins Myth, Mullpark Romeo and Sundance Saffy.
Considering the career records of all the above runners, it is assumed that the competition will be fairly neck-to-neck. However, Westmead Aouita will be able to wrest top spot from the jaws of his competitors.
The N. Savva-trained black dog accomplished some iconic feats during the last three months. After winning two races and bagging a runner-up rank in January, the two-year-old talented hound went ahead to claim two more triumphs in March.
The son of Droopys Vieri out of Westmead Aoifa elegantly finished 2nd in his second last outing on April 8. As a whole, he has a number of classic conquests to his name.
The brilliant sprinter is going to make a big impact in the Midi, having more than 85 percent chances to finish first.
From Westmead Aouita’s competitors, Merlins Myth and Sundance Saffy will be able to show decent runs in the race.
Merlins Myth registered an epic hat-trick during February-March 2012. J. Hayton’s black dog proceeded to finish first in his last start on April 10. The son of Top Honcho out of Dairyland Sue is determined to carry the day at every cost, and this thing is
going to make the event greatly thrilling.
On the other hand, Sundance Saffy bagged two fantastic triumphs in March 2012. The veteran blue b***h also clinched top position in her last outing on April 13. The brilliant b***h will be able to give enough tough time to the hot favourite hound.
By and large, there will be witnessed an awe-inspiring and rip-roaring competition at Henlow. Westmead Aouita will have to show a meticulous and calculated run in order to make his way towards victory. Good luck to all the runners.
