Westmead Maldini set to stand first in Sittingbourne Standard
Westmead Maldini is all set to seal first position in the Sittingbourne Standard contest that will go down at Sittingbourne racecourse on Sunday, May 20. The Open Race is scheduled to start at 21:19 (GMT).
On the flat track of 480 metres, the N. Savva-trained blue dog will run against Verdun Richie, Bandicoot Ripley, Murlens Union, Galtymoore Tom and Monlena Rumble. The prize purse contains £200.
The dashing dog owns a terrific track record. He won five races in a row during November-December 2011. The four-year-old veteran hound moved on to finish as a runner-up in a race on March 21, 2012.
