Westmead Maldini to claim victory with his swift pace in the Grade OR Easter Super Standard (Heat 2)
The Grade OR Easter Super Standard (Heat 2) is scheduled to take place at Sittingbourne tomorrow, on 8th April, 2012, where six hounds will compete for £100, over a distance of 500 metres.
The six hounds who are participating are Westmead Maldini, Kingsmill Super, Westmead Aouita, Farley Totti, Hedsor Arthur, and Droopys Rosemary.
Westmead Maldini has particularly attracted attention from the market and the punters as he will be racing as a favourite with odds of 4 to 5.
The son of  Droopys Maldini, out of Mega Delight, has only competed in one race this season, where he finished as a runner-up. He lost the victory by 3 ¼ lengths to Taylors Sky in the Grade IR Betfair - Don't Settle For Less at Perry Barr on 21st
March, 2012.
Trainer N. Savva took him through solo runs so he could improve his form.  He ran over a 400 metre track on 3rd April, 2012 at Romford which he completed in an impressive time of 23.62 seconds. Racing at Sittingbourne is not particularly advantageous
for this hound as he has raced at multiple tracks throughout his career.
Kingsmill Super will race with odds of 3 to 1. He looks like a strong competitor who could easily bolt through the track. K. Findlay ran him through a solo run on 16th March, 2012. He finished the 460 metre track in 27.78 seconds.
The son of Head Bound, out of Lunar Vacation, triumphed at Hall Green on 30th March, 2012, where he finished 2 lengths ahead of Local Dee Jay in 28.61 seconds over 480 metres.
Westmead Aouita, also trained by N. Savva, looks in a very good form. He will bring his best to the track and may repeat his most recent performance in which he claimed a magnificent victory.
The son of Droopys Vieri, out of  Westmead Aoifa, landed the victory in the Grade OR Bedford Road Midi at Henlow on 29th March, 2012, which he entered with odds of 9 to 4. He set the course ablaze as he defeated race favourite, Blackrose Bullet,
by 2 ¼ lengths in 33.52 seconds.
Westmead Maldini may be able to claim victory today but it will not be an easy race for the runner. The other participants are just as competitive and will not admit defeat easily. Kingsmill Super might finish as a runner-up, closely followed by Westmead
Aouita in third.
