Westmead Ourora wins Thursday’s RP GREYHOUND TV 550 MAIDEN DUP at Henlow
Westmead Ourora finished first in the RP GREYHOUND TV 550 MAIDEN DUP, taken place at Henlow on Thursday, February 2.
The brindle b***h, who was the most favourite with 1 to 1 odds, dominated the event all the way through. Despite the fact that she was running at a great pace, the other contestants did not let the b***h take the victory easily.
Boherduff Light’s daughter out of Westmead Olivia commenced the action from the fifth stall. Soon after her discharge, she picked up a handsome lead, and retained it till the finishing line, reaching the post in 33.87 seconds.
Magna Fiddler, ran at a fine speed, but failed to match the speed of the champion b***h. Westmead Ourora’s 3 ¾ lengths victory earned her connections a cash prize of 150 pounds.
Magna Fiddler made it to the finishing point in 34.16 seconds, securing the runner-up position. While the winning b***h held a decent advantage, it was a close contest between the rest of the hounds.
C. A. Evans’ trainee managed to clinch second position only by a length’s margin. The black dog was sent off with the winning possibility of 6 to 1, breaking from the third trap.
Head Iton Speedy was quick early on, and had a chance to stand at least finish second on the table. However, he failed to respond to the challenge posed by Magna Fiddler. His good performances in patches could not help him, and the black dog ended
up third on the chart. After leaving the stall with the starting price of 5 to 1, the son of Crash out of Head Iton Jordan took 34.23 seconds to conclude the show.
Killahara Jewel managed to get fourth place, covering the area in 34.30 seconds. His winning probability at the start of the affair was 9 to 2, relatively higher than a few participants in the race.
Lughill Lass, whose odds were 5 to 1, took the fifth slot, defeating Offshore Diva sent at 12 to 1 by a huge margin of 8 ½ lengths. P. Simmonds’ trainee was the least favourite in the heat, and she could not impress the audience with her performance.
The critics would did not expect Westmead Ourora to put on such a good show, especially after her sixth position in the last outing. However, the b***h proved that she can do well against any line-up.
