Wet Envy verizon cell phone?

I dropped my moms phone in the toilet. I rescued it and am now drying it out in the sun. The battery thing DID NOT turn red... it is an envy if that helps. The front screen and big screen became foggy, but then it went away... after about 30 minutes of keeping it in the sun, i tried it out... it worked but was all twitchy and some of the screen turned yellow. as you read this it is still drying... all i want to know is......will my mom have to get a new phone or will this one still work?

Never put a cell phone to dry out in the sun it damages the screen specially in the summer.  It takes hours to dry cause you can reach inside the phone.  When ever you drop the cell phone you should remove the batt and let it dry 1 or 2 days cause the damage is done when you turn it back on wet.  I saved some phones like that but they all needed new batt. If you did not have the extended insurance than you cant take it back to carrier cause it voids the warranty.

it could possibly work... let it dry out for a few days. but it could work. if not... hope she has insurance. if she does :) she would only have to pay a $50 dedcutable from her insurance comp to get a new enV
