I have an 2002 Renault Clio, after some heavy rain the other night the floors in the car were very wet possibly caused by a leaking sunroof. Could anyone explain this or has anyone experienced a similar problem?

  1. sunroofs have a tube running down the side of the screen pillow they can become blocked and flood the floor....most likely its a floor grommet that has come adrift and ma need sealing up.

  2. This may sound stupid, but take it through the car-wash, you`ll then be able to see where the leak is.

  3. Leaking sunroof is a possibility. Does this car have original windshield? If not, it is possible that the replacement has not been properly installed.

  4. replace the weather stripping.

Take a look at all the doors and windows. If the weather stripping looks damaged or rotted, it needs to be replaced. It should be fairly evident to the average person if the stripping needs replaced.
