Wet final practice session in Brazil

After two dry sessions on Friday, the Brazilian Grand Prix just could not pass by without any drama. The Korean Grand Prix was already too much for the drivers to handle and it seems that they are going to have their hands full once again at Interlagos.
Lewis Hamilton was hoping for a wet qualifying and final practice session as he believes that McLaren’s are better than their rivals in wet conditions as a result of the Korean Grand Prix. It seems that Lewis’s wish came true keeping in mind that there was
not much of a chance of rain according to the weather forecast.
All the data provided to the teams has been wasted and it seems that they would have to configure their cars once again but this time for wet conditions. One can say that the teams are lucky as they get to setup their cars before the qualifying session and
since the teams will extract data in both wet and dry conditions, they will have an idea of what the Brazilian Grand Prix has in store for them and consider their strategies accordingly.
Red Bull was the best team without a shadow of doubt, in the first two sessions followed by an equally paced pair of Ferrari and McLaren. Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button were able to take the upper hand during the first session while Fernando Alonso was
able to score better times than the McLarens in the second session. The teams had a consistent performance with the exception of Jenson Button as he was struggling once again in the second practice session even though he did not face any mechanical or technical
problems.
Since the Brazilian Grand Prix is the second last race of the season, the drivers will push as hard as they can to pull out the ultimate performance from their 2010 cars before going into the 2011 Formula 1 season.
Sebastian Vettel believes that the Brazilian track is going to suite his team’s car better than their rivals but it’s just a matter of time before the teams come forward and score their times in the final practice session of the Brazilian Grand Prix just
2 hours before the qualifying session.
