Wet tail! I think my hammy has it!?

My hammys p**p is good but it has some wierd crusty skin under its lip! Should I give it some of the medicine or no? What is it? Im a first time hammy owner so i dont know alot. (theyre robo hmasters)

It doesn't sound like wet tail at all. The crusty skin could be from His/Her teeth being too long. Does your hamster have something to chew on? Hamsters teeth grow constantly and they need something to chew on. Go to Wickipedia.com and there is a lot of stuff you need to know.

well i don't think it has wet tail be cause its p**p is fine. if he had it his butt would be wet and his p**p would be.....runny...   if you see one of there symptoms get it wet tail medicine right away.

if you are not sure what it is, take it into the vet for prescribed medication instead of just a guess about what he/she needs.
