Wetherspoon pubs- dirty, dull, doomed?

i used to like the local wetherspoons pub, but it seems constant change of staff / management has taken its toll.. food stocks very low, kitchen even closes after 9pm (menu says 11pm? so much for late shift workers..), and as for the loos..

I've never liked Wetherspoons - too noisy and crowded.
