I think all of their models are ugly and their quality is below all three

American manufacturers. I think many Americans are brainwashed into thinking that all j*p cars are good quality.

  1. Ok Please don't be arrogant.

People will choose a vehicle for different reasons and every has different taste, BEAUTY is in the eye of the BEHOLDER.

I myself prefer japanese cars for the following reasons:

They handle so much better, they move pretty quick yet conserve fuel at the same time. I think japanese design is better than the american design.

    Only american cars i like are;

Viper, Corvette, GT 40, Ford Fusion.. Pontiac GTO (CURRENT CARS)

Ok now back to your ?

    Mitsubishi makes some amazing cars.

The 1st and 2nd Gen Eclipses were just beautiful and VERY FAST.

My friend bought a 2nd Gen Eclipse with 210 STOCK HP

He bought a bigger turbo, slapped on simple bolt ons, upgraded the suspension and built the engine and with less than 10G's spent we were RAPING M3s and Corvette Z06's

However the 4G63 engine had to be maintain meticulously since it wasn't so reliable.

The 3rd and 4th Gen Eclipses were plain ugly, too heavy, and SLOW

The EVO is a great vehicle, it handles better than A LAMBORGHINI and it can be modded very easily.

My girlfriend has a basic Lancer and When I drove it i liked it because it handled well, but it sucked in gas and It was very comfy.

Now i driven american cars and they are very bumpy, they suck in gas and they handle like c**p.

TOyota, Nissan & Honda... Even mazda YOU CANNOT go wrong with any of their vehicles.

  2. No one is brainwashing anyone. It's what we call "hard facts." Foreign made cars in general are better built than the cars made by the so called Big 3. Quality of materials being used in the foreign cars are way better than those made by the big 3. Have you read articles, old or new, about cars made by the American manufacturers being compared to cars made by the j**s? It's unfavorable for the American companies. Materials being used are cheap and they feel cheap. There are plastics everywhere! Sun visors are flimsy, dashboards are grained but very hard to touch. k***s and buttons in American cars are made of hard plastic and obviously cheap. Fit and finish are below par. Even the expensive Corvettes and Vipers are not even worth the price you pay for the quality of the interior materials you get. Case in point: The Nissan GTR - costs around 75-85

thousand depending on price mark up by the dealership. Quality is far superior than the equally priced Viper or Corvette. And you get AWD in the GTR. Where is the sense in that? So if you are willing to spend your hard earned money on a lesser quality vehicle, it's your choice. Don't go around telling everyone that a lot of Americans have been brainwashed into thinking that all Japanese cars have better quality. It's a fact and it's all over the magazines!

I've owned Mitsubishi cars since I started driving at 17. I've owned 6 more Mitsubishi automobiles since then, from the Lancers, Eclipses, Montero and the Evo. Why? Because it's my choice! Why do many of my cousins buy Mitsubishi? It's their choice! And why do my aunties buy Mitsubishis? Simple. It's their choice. Nobody brainwashed them. They are intelligent enough, like a lot of Americans, to know which cars have better quality. Give Americans some credit. Aren't you an American? And don't give me that "buy American" c**p. The Galants, Eclipses, Camrys are being built in your backyard, in Illinois and Tennessee.

  3. Dude... I bought a new Lancer. There great with reliablity and super freaking gas saver. I run over 75 miles a day going 70 mph! Yes, 75 miles from my house to work and I pay nearly $40 at the gas station every week and a half.

But why would I choose japanese over american? because after seeing american cars breaking down more on the road than japanese cars. Plus, american cars aren't much gas savers with there monster engines like a pontiac(not american but close enough) gto 6.0 (i think) liter engine! holy cow... I like japanese cars sticking around 2.0 - 2.5l.

But overall, really depends if you taken care of the car. Like oil changes and maintence. I think all cars are great even muscle cars! but for long run, I'll choose japanese for better gas and cheaper repairs.

  4. Because different people have different opinions.

  5. I bought a 2001 Galant because it has good reliability, handling is good, and looks better than comparable vehicles.

  6. I think the one who got brainwashed is you! The styling is really personal and where you get Mitsubishi quality is below all three American manufacturers ? IT's not and it can run as a Honda or Toyota.

  7. mitsubishi's are uuuuugly and it isnt as reliable as hondas and toyotas...i love nissans though (there reliable like honda)

  8. I bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse because I like the style and it is GREAT on gas. I've had American made cars and they tend to have more flaws in them. The Japanese cars I've owned have all been great.

  9. i bought a 99 eclipse and ill never own another mitsubishi again.the door handles are cheap, the little things will just p**s you off.
