  1. It's probably because the window you have in your room might have let in more sunlight than any other room

  2. wow im not reading all that. just get a fan or 2

  3. aww that sucks!  my room is like that too! its because my room is the furthest away from the air conditioning unit outside...

  4. Maybe your room is on the side of the house where the sun mostly shines. Is your ac vent open? It may be clogged. I woul just buy a fan for the room. You could also try keeping the shades drawn during the hottest part of the day. Glass windows magnify heat in a room. They are not insulated so they allow heat to come in.

  5. It's actually a pretty easy question and sollution.  First, your room is probably more hot than other rooms because your air handler (also known as your heat exchange) is closer to your parents room than it is to your room.

As far as an answer to your problem:  Buy a portable A/C unit.  It cost about $200.  It sucks the air in your room, shoots cold air into your room, and blows the hot air out of your room, just like a refriderator does.  You don't have to cut any holes in your walls and it doesn't take up your entire window.  The best part, is that nothing is permanent.

  6. What you did not say is if your room is on the second or first floor. One of the things that could be is the return air vent in your room is blocked. If you don't have a return air vent in your room your house probably has a heat pump. When the door to your room is closed, the ac is blowing cold air into your room and it does not have any place for the cold air to go. So the heat from the out side is still transferring to the air in your room.

  7. I have the exact same problem. Check your vent to make sure it is completely open. Perhaps there is a hole or something in the duct that leads to your room, so check that. When you are not in your room, keep the door open and make sure all the lights and tv are off. Maybe get light bulbs with a lower watt. And also make sure that your ceiling fan is rotating in a "reverse" counter-clockwise motion! There should be a switch on the ceiling fan to change it if it is not. If your room is on the side of the house that gets the most sunlight and your window is on that side, then get blinds or curtains to keep back some of that sunlight.

  8. keep your windows open if you've taken cared of the wasp problem and definitely turn off your computer when your not using it because i leave mine on 24 hours a day and the area around it is super toasty.  im going to take my own advice someday.

  9. ok turn off the air, keep the fan going and open your window a crack, and keep the door open. Hon, you're trapping the hot air in your room and using the fan to blow it around!! Give the hot air a place to go to and your room will be cooler. Turn of the comp at night and give it a rest. As for the wasps, well it sounds like there is a hive VERY CLOSE to your window, get it taken care of right away or some night you'll wake up to stinging! GL

  10. ur window is probably open and u dont know it so try searching for some clues

  11. do u open the windows? keep all the windows open and curtains too, thats what i do. i dont let my mom ever close them cuz i cant stand heat and the fan runs too. if it doesnt work just get an air conditioner. it may be becuase you live in florida, my room is usually cool but not always. oh and keep the door closed if the air outside ur room is hot or even normal temp. hope this helps^^

  12. use an air conditioner, check ur vents and your computer also makes heat, and also close your windows and  shut the blinds light makes heat then try nto to like jump around youll  just get more hot.
