Wh o thinks this should be changed?

Question

at this link is the American Film Institute's top 50 movie villains and heroes. who thinks the list should be changed and heath ledger's Joker from The Dark Knight should be number 1 instead of Hannibal Lecter.

and even if you don't think that do you think the list should be changed at all?

Well I admit Hannibal Lecter was creepy and well performed but it really goes to the Joker. My favorite Batman character is the Joker.

That list came out in 2003 (long before Dark Knight) I remember because Lecter is one of my favorites and I was pleased he made the top.

Also, while Ledger was fantastic as The Joker, there are more iconic villains in film history.  When they compile those lists, they have lots of movies to consider.

The Joker was always my favorite villain going back to the comics and the old tv show with Adam West, Burt Ward and Cesar Romero as The Joker.

I do think they need to take animated characters off the list...
