WhAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL ?

IM STARTING HIGH SCHOOL Next monday what should expect

you arent going die, get trashed canned or anything. its a little more freedom, you might have some grumpy a**hole teachers and also some really cool teachers. theres nothing really really different. but i would recommend getting to the school kind of early so you can find out where all your classes are so you arent lost on the first day haha. try getting a map of the school from the office and mark where all your classes are. :) goodluck!

The best thing I can tell you is just be yourself. It might seem really scary and all but it's actually not that bad. Just say hi to a couple of people and hope to make new friends.

As far as teachers go, just be polite and do the work.

It sort of depends on the size of your school, but in general, know that on the first day, everything is a little chaotic.  Everyone is rushing around trying to figure out where they need to be, and they may be so self-absorbed that they seem less friendly than they might otherwise be.  In class, you need to listen carefully, because while you won't get a lot of work done, you can get some critical information from your teachers about what will be important to them and how to do well.  If you are feeling a little lost, know that so does everyone else.  It will get better the next day.

i went to a big high school, i wasnt too nervous, but with a big school its easy to get overwhelmed, dont take any advice from anyone that is not a teacher until u make some friends, a higher classman might give you wrong directions to class or something. i loved high school, it doesnt get hard till 10th grade. good luck

seeing alot of chin and mexican in class

kids your age walking around act like an idiot adult

alot of fools

spanish speaking try to blend in ...still look ****

some of your teachers can't do simple algebra math

your lunch prepare by illegal immigrants workers

Just be yourself and Talk to people. be outgoing. meet your teachers and be nice or they will get you. Also theirs something in my school called freshie friday which juniors or sophomores throw pennies at you but it probably wont happend at ur school only mine.

just stick with ur friends the first year..by the next u will be ok and know wat to do and be ready for a new year.and dont mess with the senior..its their final year and all they want to do is get it over with and they dont need a freshman giving them problems...but u can try to be friends with them as well...

high school is awesome! the first day you get your schedule and go to all your classes where you will be told what to expect for the rest of the year. really easy. no work, but still take a backpack because some papers might be handed out. you will meet new people pretty quickly, since everyone is trying to find someone that they can trust in the classroom. food sucks, but they usually sell stuff like chips, that's a plus. just enter into the classrooms head held high, strutting along joyfully and you'll fit right in. learn how to us your locker please. so many freshman have backpacks the size of mine time 4. not exaggerating. you get less work than middle school. how those that work out? just have fun and enjoy some of the best years of your life. make me proud. :)

Okay here is a sophomore answering this question. I went to a huge high school last year. Met sooooo many friends. But in high school you will find drama no matter what. Just stay out of gossip, seriously don't spread anything about anyone don't talk c**p about anyone to somebody unless its your bff who you trust. Focus on grades seriously, high school does not PLAY AROUND! If you like someone get to know them, dont play games high school is all about games. Choose electives wisely and if you want to go to college look up the requirements and take classes that will benefit you.
