  1. Edwin Valero can seriously hurt manny . but manny and bob arum will not risk it against the monster puncher

  2. some dude up there is giving wrong answer thus probably not properly informed. morales beat pacquiao via unanimous decision on their first bout, then manny goes on to win the last 2 fights. marquez "did not" i say it again..."did not" win over pacquiao in their fights. jmm did grab a draw on the first meeting, but wasnt able to win, on the other hand manny didnt finish the job well which leads to another fight where he won the split...anyway i got him 115-114, 7-5 rounds over marquez...if not for the knockdown...it will probably go via another draw or a win for jmm.

going back to your Q, i would say if ever he moves up to lightweight...he's going to have a h**l of a time up there, where the punches are much heavier, pace is slower but the fighters are more powerful. though manny punches like a superlightweight i think he might not be able to withstand a lightweight punch. so, guys like Juan Diaz or david Diaz could be the guys that can do it.

not valero...manny will kill him. he already got a cracked skull, he can hurt manny but will never defeat him...if he wanted manny he doing a deathwish. manny's punches isnt like the ones he's been having in his japan fights.

  3. Well he`s offered to go up in weight to fight Ricky Hatton or Floyd Mayweather, if he does then either one of them, but i cant see anyone in his own weight division doing it just yet, maybe as his reflexes get slower or when he finally gets punch drunk, but not for a couple of years yet.

  4. i agree with the top contributor

  5. The short answer is that he's already been knocked out.  But I don't think I've heard a greater exaggeration than to say that Manny has "completely wiped out all the best boxers in Mexico".

He beat Barrera and Morales on their decline and after Morales had already won a unanimous decision knocking him around the ring and even doing some of it southpaw.  There are many people, including many whose profession it is to say, who believe that he has lost to Juan Manuel Marquez (who is already 34) twice.  He was rocked and in danger of being knocked out more than once last Saturday night against Marquez.

I think Juan Diaz of Houston would beat him and probably knock him out.  Manny will lose his punching power as he moves up in weight.

  6. Rustico Torrecampo,Medgoen Singsurat. Thats the answer, Pacquiao has been knocked out twice (one controversial KO)

But Pacquiao has improved steadily, and If Manny keeps training the same way he’s been training, there’s no one left in the division to test him, his next fight with David Diaz could be an awesome fight. But I don’t see Pacquiao losing for a long time. He would give Oscar all he could handle, Id love to see him matched up with Mayweather. What a show.

And a correction to the other post up there. Manny lost only 3 fights to Morals, and the two who knocked him out. Juan Manuel Marquez never beat Manny. He got a draw in a fight he lost cause one of the judges messed up in his scoring.

  7. If the rumors are true and Pacquiao decides to fight De La Hoya, he will get ko'd easily.

  8. First of all, he lost to both Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez who both schooled Manny.  As for the first to knock him out, that depends on if they are man enough to sign to fight Edwin Valero outside of the USA.  If they are, Valero will knock Manny silly inside of three rounds.

  9. edwin valero will never knock manny.. i watched some of his fights with unknown and unranked boxers, and im not impressed. i think the only thing that could k.o pacquiao is himself, his wealth, women, and celebrity status.
