Why is it that when someone tells you that there are over a billion stars in the universe, you believe them, but if they tell you there is wet paint somewhere, you have to touch it to make sure?

Haha! Salaam.

That is a really interesting question - i guess you just accept it as you have no way of proving it&#039;s wrong, yet you can check if paint is still wet just to confirm it - then when you are stood with paint on your hand you know the truth, but you wish you had not touched the wet paint.

i just got an email saying that haha

because it&#039;s proven that there are 4 billion stars but you don&#039;t know for sure that the paint is wet until u check

cuz its possible to touch paint, who&#039;s gna count stars. I think humans r kinda weird nd naive lol
