WhY do people have to dress in certain ways?

Question

(1) there are people who are fully covered up. maybe not like iraqi women ok, um but why would you choose to kinda not show much

(2) there are people who love to show the more the better. ok, why?

(3) ok. there are people who basically just show the regular stuff of the body. that's pretty normal. what do you think?

For all 3 questions, it's a matter of values and culture. People can dress as they want, but society will always judge on looks no matter where you are. So even if you say you dress how you want, everyone cares even the slightest bit what other people would think. For example, you don't go to a movie theater in your pj's so you can be comfortable, you would always get judged by people who don't reason beforehand. Generally people judge without thinking the reasons someone looks like that...maybe their other clothes are dirty and they would rather not stink, or they lost their bag at the airport. But "judgers" don't think about that, they slap on the label and wait for the next victim.

Now if you were to judge someone that you know as an experiment, maybe a close friend that dresses like that out of their own will, you can say that each person dresses in what they think it's appropriate. In a way it shows who you are, and what you believe in. Sometimes you can almost predict what kind of person they are. Don't do this though

I find it best not to think about it, because there's no good reason for me to judge someone....even if they're friends...i think people change with time and dress differently as they grow up and mature. Sometimes there's a whole lot more to how someone dresses than what you can tell by looking at them, so it's best to see them as anyone else. It's true that the way you dress reflects who you are, but again, there are exceptions to why you look like that...and those exceptopns on their own make judging unfair.

I am #1. Just 'cuz deep nicklines look weird on me. And I'm really pale, too, which on me, looks weirder. And I like being pale, but I don't have to show that much skin in my chest area. I'd wear short sleeves and bermuda shorts. I don't wear shorts 'cuz I have stretch marks on my thighs. & I have no idea where they came from, 'cuz I'm not fat at all. I hate it.

2. If you got it, flaunt it? Lol. Or they just want attention.

Because everyone is unique and like to dress differently according to their religion, customs, budget or just taste. The way people dress make them an individual.

Its mainly depends on the culture and personal expressions. It evolves from different types from the different zeitgeist of the different times

1 becaseu there are perverts who stare down your shirt and try and pick you up as your walking down the street. i would know.

1)People who cover like that are usually socially malajusted and/or phobic about the beautiful human body we all have.Either way,they hate to stand out,but,in long sleeves,long pants,shoes and socks in the middle of July,they always DO!

2)People who dress 'down' fall into 2 categories.Some people are showing off,and it's kinda lame,but nothing to hate on.Others who don't wear much are just comfortable with themselves.They arent showing off,they're just staying comfortable in the heat,and don't CARE what you see.That's all good,in my book.

3)"Regular" and "normal" are different things for different people.There's no such a thing as one "Normal" that applies to everybody.What YOU think of as "Regular" might be totally smutty to someone,and totally prudish to someone else! You truly never know what someone else's "Normal" is,because it's a big world.
