Wha are the chances of seeing a Broadway star walking around Broadway?

Question

May it be walking around for fun or walking to their theatre to get ready.

Random question but it would be really cool to see them in person. Would they mind taking pictures if you stopped them? I feel like that may be rude, though..

Best chance to see Broadway stars just walking around is on Mondays - because those days are "dark"- no performances -so that is the day you have the best chance of seeing them out and about town. Each person is different - some may not mind at all taking pix with you  - some may. Try not to interrupt them if they are in the middle of something - don't bother them if they are eating  or talking with someone . If you just see them walking or shopping alone - you have a better shot. Be polite and back off if they are not into it. But you may get lucky - lots of actors are really nice and enjoy the attention - after all - they are performers ! And don't take up too much of their time - get the picture - thank them and move on.

You probably would have a good chance. It would be OK to stop them unless, they were eating, having a conversation with somebody or in an obvious hurry.
