  1. an iPod (or similar device) for music, a portable DVD player, reading material....

also, snacks - - airlines have pretty much cut them out.

    :o)

  2. 1.Get yourself a cute little lunch bag(just for fun) and pack it with little cheeses, pretzels, healthy juices, fresh fruit & vegetables.

    2. Get your favorite magazines ( current issues so fresh and new finds can be discovered) and some nice interesting books from your local library.

3.Bring along a journal or tablet to jot down your experiences of the trip. This is great when you look back at what was in your head at that particular time in your life.

    4. Your ipod/cd player

5.markers, pencils, paper (we girls love to doodle)

    6. your camera.

    7. Last but defintely not least get some sleep you are probably busy otherwise.

    8. Have a safe and fun time!

  3. Magazine, book, ipod, gum, spiral notebook for doodling, take one change of clothing in case your luggage gets lost.  crossword puzzles, word search, mind puzzles, (look with the magazines at a store to find these).

  4. bring some magazines, snacks, and a music device of some sort. also, i like to bring a madlibs book if you are traveling with a friend or sibiling.

  5. i travelled for 13 hours to Australia with my 7 yr old and besides the airplane entertainment. i purchased one of those 7" dvd (now you can find them as cheap as 80 bucks) and brought tons of dvd's/cd's and stuff.. she was watching tv or listening to music all the trip.... try it
