Whaddaya think of the name Allie Scout?

Question

Okay, so I really really like the nickname "Scout" from To Kill A Mockingbird. I'd love to use it as a first name, but I just don't think that's practical. So I was thinking that it'd be great as a middle name! What do you think sounds the best out of these:

Allie Scout

Annika Scout

Juni Scout

Chloe Scout

Lucy Scout

Or do you think Scout for a first name?

I think you're right about Scout.  With your love of the book, you've got to work it into your child's name somewhere.

I also love the name Scout for the same reason.

it would be very unique to name her Scout. i think it's cool, but i don't know if people will think of Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.

Scout's real name is Jean Louise.  How about Louise Scout or Scout Louise?

I think it would make  a cute middle name. I don't see it fitting an adult woman, but if she really loves it she can choose to go by it if its her middle name.

I like Lucille better than Lucy, Allison better than just Allie.

Annika is pretty as well. Audrey Scout, Tessa Scout, Adelle Scout... just some other suggestions.

Just use scout as one of those random nicknames like Bub or Scooter.   No one names the kid that it just somehow happens.

I would use Scout as a middle name if you decide to use it (or as a nick name). Otherwise, why not use Scout's real name? Jean Louise?

I think of Allie as more of a nick name for Alice, Alison or Alexandra.

umm...i think you should find some more names to put in front of "scout" ... sounds too much like a father & son name, and it doesnt seem like your "scout" is going to be a boy.

A nickname of Scout would work, if that's your pleasure... but plz not as a first or middle name.  Give the poor little girl a break...

Allie is a nickname, not a name. Scout is horrid as a name, and sounds masculine.

Don't care for Annika.

Juni looks made up and nicknamish. June would be better.

Cloe is pretty but common.

I love Scout!  I actually think it would be awesome as a first name.  A couple celebrities and even real people (lol) have used it (one of Demi Moore's kids is named Scout, after the one in To Kill A Mockingbird too, I think).  Maybe you could consider it with a more traditional middle name, like Scout Elizabeth or something like that.

But if you want it as a middle name, I like the sound of Lucy Scout the best.  Lucy is such a sweet, pretty name!  Chloe is nice too, though for some reason, it seems I'm hearing that name a lot more these days than Lucy.

Juni is awesome too, though I prefer it as maybe a nickname for June or Juniper.  

Allie and Annika are nice too (though -ie names generally tend to look like nicknames only to me, so maybe Alison, Alissa, Alice, or whatever instead as a full name) but I'd be careful with AS combinations lol.  Imagine if her last name one day (if she chooses) begins with S.  That would suck lol.
