Going to Rome, other than the standard tourist things, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Colleseum, etc, what else would be fun to do?

  1. I just came back from Italy.  The best, most different thing we found was The Ice Bar.  It is an entire bar made out of ice.  The counters, seats, cups, walls....everything is made out of ice.  I am sorry but I don't know the address.

  2. The Ice Club located on Via Della Madonna Dei Monti

40 tons of ice open Thursday thur Sunday.

    Phone # 06-97845581

15 Euro entrance fee (free drink in glass made out of ice)

They give you a coat and gloves upon entering.

Check it out and have fun

  3. Campo de' Fiori is one of the oldest markets in Rome, where food and flowers are found. The market is open every morning of the week except Sunday. Campo de' Fiori, surrounded by many bars and restaurants, is a popular destination at night for locals and foreigners alike.

    Walking, bike and bus tours

You can head to the protected dunes of the Spiaggia Libera di Castelporziano. From the C.Colombo train station, it's a five-minute bus ride south to one of the free-access gates.

    Sabaudia

This pretty seaside town was developed in the 1930's, one kilometer from sandy beaches and clean Mediterranean water. The town also faces a lake with watersports facilities. The entire area around Sabaudia is part of the Parco Nazionale del Circeo, a wildlife preserve. To reach Sabaudia take Metro Line B to EUR-Fermi, then a blue LILA bus to Sabaudia.

    Enjoy!☺
