  1. I just saw some at my local PetCo the other day. See if they have some in one near you

    -or-

people sell them on eBay but I'm not sure of the quality or the amount of care given to them.

  2. Simple la!

    www.aquabid.com...

Please look for those sellers with good ratings... =)

But the fish there are very high quality n cheaper than store..

    TRUST ME! it works

  3. Petco

  4. Petco has them. They cost about $14. Most Petco stores only sell the male halfmoons, but you can order both males and females online at www.petco.com

  5. Most Petco's now carry halfmoons but call ahead as they don't often have many in at one time.  Also check that the halfmoon your spending 14$ on is acutally a true halfmoon and not a delta, sometimes they get mislabled.  A true halfmoon has a caudal that is a half circle or greater, 180degrees.  Anything less, even 179 degrees is a delta.

You can also check your other local fish stores and see if they'll special order you one as some will.

Beyond pet stores, see if you can locate breeders nearby.  The International Betta Congress will have a list of chapters.  You can also check betta forums for breeders.

If all else fails than you can have them shipped to you from sites like www.aquabid.com.  This can get pricey though as shipping runs an avg of 25$ on top of the cost of the betta, so you could be looking at shelling out 50$ for a halfmoon at that rate.
