Whare the BEST brands for DVD players?

Question

I have a coby Dvd, mp3, CD player. It is about four years old maybe. It is giving me problems. Sometimes the player will not even play the DVD. Sometimes it stops after a few minutes. Sometimes it takes several tries before it plays at all. I NEVER have this problem with CDs. Please give me the names of the best DVDS.

Sony, Emerson, and Toshiba have always worked great for me!!   They also sell for cheap, i have had a Toshiba for 7 years and it works great!!

Oppos have no equal in standard definition.  Not Sony, not Samsung, not Panasonic, not the Denon.
