  1. I am sure you can go to lots of places and get video's of his fights and see for yourself.  I still from time to time watch them because I think he was truly the greatest.

  2. no he was the greatest athlete that ever lived

  3. Watch Ali-Liston 1, The Rumble in the jungle in with Foreman, The Thrilla in Manilla with Frazier, The way he toued with Patterson, his fight with Al Blue Lewis, His fight with Chavalo,Quarry. Boring?

Man watch the man fight before you ask that question.

  4. Ali wasn't boring but some may see it that way because the old saying is a boring fight is the best fight.

Meaning both fighters are being very technical and picking their spots precisely kind of like chess.

B-Hop is considered boring because he fought smart.

But Ali was never a boring fighter, he picked his spots with a bit of flare.

even though it's just highlights you should watch some and decide for yourself

  5. h**l no he wasnt boring. he was a boxing genius!

  6. No, but if he was matched with the right fighter, like a Frazier, he would be dynamic.

  7. In his prime, Ali was anything but a boring fighter.  He had tremendous speed, foot movement, and reflexes.  He could hit, move, and hit again before his opponent even blinked.  Later in his career, after the wars with Frazier, Norton, Foreman, etc etc finally caught up with him, he started to lose his speed and reflexes.  From there, his fights became much slower paced with a lot of rope-a-dope moves (for those of you who don't know, that is where he would lean against the ropes and let his opponents throw punches and dictate the pace while he tried to tired them out).  Some of his later fights were not exciting but that can not in any way take away from the excitement he produced in his prime.

  8. i wasn't alive then either but i was told by people who were that he was the greatest to watch and his personality made him even more exciting

  9. NO, Ali was like a cat plying with a mouse. He toyed and toyed but as he put it 'stung like a bee'.
