What’s the chance for Dalai lama to support Australian aboriginals when he tours Australia next week?

He is now invited by the Australian government to tour Australia. Should the aboriginal people in Australia leverage his “Noble Peace Laureate” status to endorse the cause of Australian aboriginals ?

Why not?  the Australian Aboriginies have been ignored and undermined for 2 centuries.

Now you mention it, the Tibethans and the Aborigines have a lot in common, they have both been suppressed by the surrounding majorities, whether it be the white immigrants in Australia, or the Chinese in Tibet. The have both been thought of as inferior, so maybe Dalai Llama can relate to how the Aborigines feel. He may be 'famous', but I am sure he did not put himself out to seek fame. And I believe if someone famous supports your cause, it will sure get you more attention than if it were supported by someone no one has ever heard of.
