What, in your opinion, allows some people to experience paranormal events, and others not?

Question

Is it simply a matter of right place, right time? Or is it something to do with how open the person is to the experience? Or perhaps something within the person's psyche?

I'm curious because, although I have never seen ghosts, guardian angels, sprits, etc., I very much believe that they exist. Family members have had experiences, but I have not. Thank you in advance for your input!

Honestly? From my experience, a lot of this stuff is really really subtle and very easily dismissed. A cool breeze, the tingle on the back of your neck, even the shadow out the corner of your eye, all easily dismissed. People tend to explain it away. So honestly, it could just honestly be that you've done this, you've felt something and explained it away.

In my opinion, one reason may be the pre-existing belief in such paranormal happenings. One who already believes in such things is much more likely to interpret a seemingly mysterious event in terms of the paranormal, whether it is actually paranormal or not. Someone who doesn't believe in the paranormal is more likely to look for natural explanations and not consider it a paranormal event.

I think a lot of it comes from paying attention to what's happening around you. If you keep believing things are coincidences ..you'll never believe it's really paranormal. You can just keep on ignoring it and eventually you don't notice it at all. Once you start giving attention to the little things that happen..you'll start to notice a lot more things..and then the bigger things. However ..something really big had to happen to me to make me believe.I spent 10 years giving it my attention..and too many things happened to me for my own good. I came to rely on it too much.I had to shut it out. Now I rarely notice anything happening..and if I do..I try not to get excited about it and try not to tell anyone. If I told anyone..I think it would be the ones on here...maybe my family..then maybe not.

I know there are angels  for the bible says there are and ghost are in the bible also. I have had things happen to me to believe  in angels. But you do have to watch out for demons !!! They are real and are very evil. so you do have to watch out what your open to and for. As a Christian I know  witch is witch!!! The devil will do anything to take you away from Christ.....I know I have had it happen to me ! The devil is very real!!!! But so are good Angels and the Lord. So be careful with your open mine and what you are seeking !

Psychic abilities are normal and inherent properties of every spirit being. However in most of us, they have not as yet undergone development. First, we need to learn and understand what they are about. Then we need to train and develop them. Spirits and ghost can show themselves to anyone if they choose to. One reason why they seemingly choose certain ones is because they watch your reactions, they like to communicate to the sensitive ones, because these sensitive people tend to either see them easier, hear, and sense their presence. I sometimes can see them good when awake, and when I am asleep, if they come near, I either wake up to see them or my third eye opens and sometimes when I see them, I may react, then they know I am sensitive, or I feel their thoughts telepathy....some of their thoughts are that they are surprised that I can see them. Usually that's when they want to communicate all the more.

When your very open to it, I think it allows your senses, third eye to become open. I do believe in reincarnation, and that some of us...the sensitive ones lived many more past life times, therefore our spirits have more experiences, sensitive and more open to work these senses, abilities with ease.

Some people that don't believe or not tuned...is because many are newly created spirits, and don't have the experience enough to allow their spirit to be open being trapped in the body.

i think it is a feeling for vibes and intuition .like any other ability everybody has their own rate. it's not purely immagination, all though immaginative people tend to be more open .if you wish to develop your psychic abilities please make sure you learn from a good,experienced person, there are many pitfals out there and many charlatans.but that does not take away from the genuine people who are doing a great job.

no, i am pyschic and i only experienced on paranormal moment but it all relies on the persons mind, do u belive or not, if u do uyr chances are higher, if not, they are lower, however not beliving doesnt completely eliminate the chances but be careful! many people also dont take the risks into perportion! there is possesion and death, powerful spirts or "demons" can kill u or hurt u! so if u feel u have connected or found that type of spirit, run or pretend like it doesnt matter. or get ur house blessed (if it is ur house)

Since you believe just wait.Sooner or later you'll misinterpret a natural occurrence.You'll be positive you've seen proof of the paranormal.Just like the rest of them you'll swear to it.
