What, in your opinion, is the single most 'essential' psychology book?

I recently bought, "Blink" and "how to win friends and influence people" both of which are very interesting.

  1. To be honest i think its gotta be 'The Sounds OF Laughter', Peter Kay's biography, ooh its deep!

  2. if you're a woman (and i guess even if you're not) I would def suggest 'women who run with the wolves' by clarissa estola pinkes (I think?!!)

    its a fabulous book. psychoanalytic in application, she uses common folk stories and deconstructs them to show how and why they are universal and the messages they convey - its one of my all time fave books.
