What, is a good HDTV for a PS3?

I'm going to be buying an HDTV off amazon within the next couple of weeks and I want to know, what is a good HDTV for a PS3?

I'll have around 1,000$ to spend.

but an LCD TV for sure! Dont buy plasma TV, its very c**p for video games. Buy Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, or LG. They are all good cause they are a Japanese Product, but of course made in china. But the best option is to buy a TV. if you see like a SONY HDTV 32" for $1000 and you see a PANASONIC HDTV 37" for $1000, i'd buy the PANASONIC one, but SONY is the best product. Im also bying one in 2 weeks, but i only have $800 lol :(

We have a 37" Phillips LCD HD TV with 1080i and Ambilite. Its really clear and we shopped around a lot before we bought this one. We've had it about a year and not one complaint yet. It runs about $1000. We got it from best buy, they let you finance with no interest if you open a card and their sales people aren't on commission so they're not really pushy and they don't get you to spend money you don't want to

lcd is good and go for samsung or sony,u could get a 32" samsung or sony within $1000
