  1. Over 35 years old and a natural born citizen.

  2. Nothing.  He was born on a U.S. base, not in the U.S.  He did nothing but aggravate his own party, cheat on his first wife, and is now living with another (wow, conservative evangelicals aren't attacking him, hmmm...).  He cursed out another senator who didn't agree with him.  He wants a second chance.  He can have it.  But running the country?  Look at Obama who has stayed with his family, has worked in low-paying jobs to get where he is, worked hard at his grades--they improved from mediocre to exceptional (got into Harvard).  Serving in the military and being captured doesn't make you eligible for president, it merely makes you a hero that should be promoted to a higher position.  On the other hand, Obama's foresight (continuing crisis in Iraq), the lackluster fight in Afghanistan has been on the money.  We don't need a surge.  We need to know that when we leave the terrorists won't just walk right in and take back over.  McCain wants a second choice, but he should step aside and let a better role model and exemplary individual who hasn't been tainted step forward and assume the role of president of the U.S.  Obama...

  3. Nothing after he picked his vp. How awful of a choice!

  4. The saying "old wise men"

    Oink!

  5. His blood group .like all Presidents and runners before him

Check the others Hillary Obama ,McCain all belong to the same blood lines

It has always been the common denominator.

    nobody believes it .

But you cannot become president with out it

one day Brad Pit may be president.

    he qualifies.

  6. Experience.  Enough said.

  7. 25+ yrs serving his country in the Senate, Decorated service to his country in the U.S.Navy, and true and unquestionable love for his country.

  8. these two words that Obama didn't have...experience and character.

  9. He now has a great Vice President picked out. Also, he is Republican!!!

  10. By selecting Palin as his running mate, John McCain has shown he is not qualified to be president because he would leave this country in the hands of an idiot.

By selecting someone so obviously unqualified for the presidency, McCain has shown that decides things irrationally, and perhaps because of some lingering issues with the war. Perhaps he is suffering from trauma from Vietnam.

By voting for torture and supporting Gitmo, McCain shows he has contempt for the constitution and laws of the US.

By ignoring Georgia's terrorist attack on the capital of South Ossetti, McCain has shown a irrational belligerence that is dangerous to this country.

I could go on, but McCain-ants can only read a few lines at once.

  11. Nothing. That's why this country should never, EVER go full r****d. Whoops already did that.

  12. He was POW, that's all I hear.

  13. Experience. 4 years in the US House of Representatives and 21 years in the US Senate.

Obama: 1.5 years in the Senate before he abdicated to run for President.

  14. Why do so few people know the qualifications for president of the United States:

*Must have reached their 35th birthday

*Must be a natural-born citizen of the United States of America

*Must have resided in the United States for the past 14 years.

He also has an immense amount of experience that would make him a strong and effective leader.  He has commanded troops.  He understands the legislative process.  He is not swayed by the status quo, i.e., the "good ol' boys" network.  He loves his country and serves it well.

  15. He has given most of his life to this country. He has tried to make a difference. Most of us are to wrapped up in ourselves to commit to our country. Think about it, 300,000,000 and only a few commit.

  16. Experience, he's an American citizen, and he is over the age of 35.

  17. you can have all those years of political service but still do nothing substantial..he has done more when it comes to issues within the policies of political campaigning but what has he done for the country while in office for the people...real issues.. education? economy? foreign affairs?  we hear what he wants to do but i am not hearing any factual evidence that makes me say yes he does know what he is doing..to me its a wash between Obama and McCain and i like what i hear from Obama/Biden...

  18. nothing actually, anyone can run for president.

  19. A noun, a verb, and P.O.W.

  20. He's old, quite rich, white, and male.  Are there any other kind of qualifications to be a republican president?  OH, yeah, one more...he has tunnel vision on issues (can you say "surge") and will always "stay the course", no matter what cliff that course steers you toward.

  21. The fact that some people aren't going to vote for Obama,

I mean someone has to run against him

  22. A h**l of a lot more than what qualifies Obama.

  23. He was tortured.

  24. I think you mean, "What qualifies Obama to be president", right?   Answer??  NOTHING!!   He was a senator for a measly three years - and that's HIS experience?  Pa-leeez!!

  25. well

    Bush just said so

    He was a POW

He is only one who cares about you

    He is old enough

    He is white

    He has money

He has been in senate for 26 years and truly helped all the vets

He helped Katrina and it went well

He makes fast gut feeling choices

He has least 3 years to live

    He wants to

    and

BUSH wants him to carry on

  26. McCain only qualifies for medicare because he looks disable to me. If he dies we are doomed with his VP. She doesn't even know what her job is. I guess she got her job because she looked s**y and not because she knew anything, might have taken some Monica Lewinsky class.

  27. He was a war hero.  He has made a lot of progress in Arizona.

    He has experience.

  28. What qualified Bush to be president?

They're all puppets for the Corporate Empire, so the question should be:

"What, specifically, qualifies John McCain to be a Puppet?"

  29. 1) experience in senate

    2) actually knows what the policy's mean

    3) love of country

    4) love of fellow man regardless of skin color

    5) doesn't just say he'd put his country first he has.

  30. Nothing, except he is old enough and he is a natural born citizen.

Many people meet the requirements but it don't mean they should be president.

  31. You know, I don't think this is the question we should be asking. In a moment of seriousness, John McCain spent five years as a PoW in Vietnam.
