  1. Always to welcome the customer which is incredibly important and which is sadly almost non existent.  Wearing a smile looking happy to be there, nothing worse to put a customer off than a miserable looking sod. Politeness, always a please and thank you, Friendliness being ready and willing to help someone out.


  2. My opinion on good customer service is when this service is incorporate into an organisation mission for it to grow and be profitable. Introduced a risk management programme to explore and address concerns, obstacles and complains to ensure that this service are sold to all customers as their best choice and needs.

  3. Personally I think customer service is gauged by how well problems are resolved. The 'yes sirs' and 'have a nice day's when you are buying something are easy, it's what happens when a problem arises. It's here where you really see the difference between well motivated and trained staff who are empowered to make decisions against underpaid staff who couldn't care less and are only allowed to do what the computer screen says.

  4. Politeness and respect always treat people as you expect to be treated youself.

  5. Ease of communication, ability to assist, friendliness and helpfulness, feeling like you are no1.
