What,s the correct kicking technique in 50m freestyle ?

i heard that when i swim the 50m freestyle is different than swimming the 400m freestyle there is another kicking technique i should use when i swim the 50m freestyle what should i change in my kicking technique to be correct ?please i want answer as you can guys .

  1. Well, there isnt much of a technique change, you just kick harder and faster in a 50, becuase it is a sprint, and its fast.

    As for a 400m free, the kick is more slower a little less harder becuase it is distance, and it takes time.


  2. the 50m is a sprint, so you kick as fast as you can, with all that you've got.

    The 400m is a slower more relaxed kick.

  3. In the 50m, use short, powerful kicks. Also, bring up the rate of your kicking so that you get more kicks per length of the pool.
