What 2 colors or more should my room be painted?

Okay,i would like my room colors to be fun, spunky, and totaly awesome!!But i want it modern and young too. I'm 13 years old and just help me pick some colors out I would prefer just 2 colors but be my guest to choose more! Any colors you think,don't be afraid to answer colors u would think is a good idea. It doesn't matter because I'm getting new furniture so I need the walls painted first. There's 1 window BIG space in closet and I'm having hardwood floor be put in.PLEASE HELP!!

orange and pink? like a sunset? and make the ceiling blue...its like the sky on ur ceiling. i'd prefer the night sky, with little white dots for stars. the walls are the sunset. maybe?

if your girly, maybe lime green and neon pink that always looks good:]. Somthing else that would look cool is white walls and then get a  few diferent neon(or normal) colors that you liek and splatter them all around the walls, which will look cool and be fun ahah. hope i helped x3.

Well, it's all about your prospective... What are your favorite colors? I know, it's not that simple... If you want spunky, try a nice color red and a spunky dark yellow. The two are both warm colors, and the complment each other. Add modern furniture, and I've always liked box shaped shelfs, with maybe some books, or some cool records on it. If you don't like that, then try a shiny silver and a black. To make it spunkier from there, get CD'S, plain silver CD's, and hang them from a see-through string. Reflecting from items around the room, makes it a fun, shiny, lovable room! I think what I would choose, is a shiny white, with a vibrant red. Imagine it! Put modern furniture, and a spunky bed spread! That makes the room a great hang out space and a wonderful room! It also depends on if you're a boy or girl. Girl's like pink and boys like black or red or something. I've been trying to offer things that both genders could like, but it's very difficult. Do you like blue? Red? Orange? Purple? Here's some colors that complment each of those...

Orange: Yellow, Pink, Red, Black, Blue

Blue: Yellow, Brown, Silver, Baby Blue

Red: Yellow, Blue, Orange, Purple (yeah, purple!:0)

Purple: Black, Yellow, Pink, Red

well my room is 4 diffrent colors one wall is yellow the other one is green the other one is pink the other one is blue and the celing is white but all of it are ligth pastel colors whoch makes it look nice try it=]

Do what I did and get inspiration from looking at scrapbook paper.  My room is green with pink squares - though the squares aren't filled in in the middle with pink, they're filled in with green.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think a pale creamy green like "pearl onion" (# 7126) and a dark orange like "gingery" (# 6363) would look terrific.

but i think darker muted purples, oranges, teals, turquoises   might be your best bet set off with white trim

your 13 you have at least 5 years left in this room....... you don't wanna hate it in a year so don't go for anything to dirastic

my bestfriend when we were 13 had her room painted this purple color and she hated it by the time we were in high school and althought shes moved out of her parents by now the room is still that horrible color

instead of pictures painted on your wall maybe try stripes

on my walls i have some built in shelves a memory board that i made myself with fabric and ribbons, a big desk calander so i know whats going on, frames with pictures of me and my friends, some of the ocean   (Kohls is a good place for frames), some prings i bought off of  www.art.com  , walmart also sometimes has good decorations for walls, target tends to be better..... start finding things for your room
