  1. a part of Swiss and Austria

  2. The question was: what 2 countries apart from germany speak german in europe?

    My answer: Austria and Liechtenstein

Both have, apart from local dialects, german as solely official language.

German as official language, among others, is spoken in the countries Belgium and Luxembourg and the italian province South Tirol.

Amish people in Pennsylvania still use the German language in church for their religous service.

  3. Austria and Switzerland.

  4. Austria, part of Switzerland and part of Belgium all speak German as a first language (as well as Germany)

EDIT - actually after checking to source my info, I have to correct myself!

"It is an official language in Austria, Belgium, Province of Bolzano-Bozen - Italy, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg

    & Switzerland" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_lang...

  5. Austria and Switzerland

  6. just a little note, swiss speak different German.

  7. Yes, Austria and Switzerland but also many, many people speak fluent German in Hungary.

  8. Officially, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. Many speakers live in Hungary, Eastern France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic and Poland.
