  1. A pair of comfy light shorts that won't restrict any sort of movement. A light singlet or tshirt, make sure it's not too loose.

Buy a volleyball and start digging the ball up against a wall back and forth to yourself.

Start by setting the ball standing up straight, continue to do so as you lower your body on to the floor and onto your back. keep setting and getting up until you are standing up again. The height of the ball can vary according to your skill of being able to continue to set and move.

  2. wear: a sports bra

              a comfortable t-shirt

if you don't like spandex wear athletic shorts like soffees.

knee pads(they can usually be bought at any sports store)

tennis shoes(like indoor court shoes if your serious about it)

and i always wear knee socks because i feel like its a good way not to scrape up your legs if you dive.

if you make the team and they wear ankle braces then wear them. ankle braces have saved my ankles alot.

  3. you need to wear a loos t-shirt, running shoes, and definately KNEE PADS!

if you wont wear spandex, then get some soccer shorts, they work fine, i guess.

and to get some of this stuff you can go to sports authority or G.I. joes or some stores like that.

  4. i would wear shorts (like soffe or something like that) and a big t-shirt.  bring strings or something to tie up the sleeves with.  thats what i did and i was very comfortable.  it gets extremely hot at some volleyball camps so bring lots of water.  have fun and good luck

  5. 1) Tank top and sports bra

    2) Nike or other sports shoe with shocks to jump higher

    3) Either Spankies or Nike/basketball shorts

    4) Knee pads/elbow pads are not necessary but help a lot

  6. go to a sports store and get spandex it looks like you have been playing longer and you know what your doing plus thats what everyone wears

  7. u need to wear shorts, t-shirts, running shoes, and training  bra

  8. Wear some cotton shorts, black short and comfortable. Any t-shirt but,  not a cheer leading shirt, a lot of volleyball players make fun of them sorry lol. You need knee pads, the thicker the better and you should wash them every once in a while. Good shoes. I know some people who buy special court shoes but I just wear Nike's.

Work on your foot work, if you don't know what this is the camp will teach you. I made a good impression on my coach by know this. Also throw a ball (smaller so you can hold it with one hand) as far as you can over and over this will help your serving. Work on your vertical if you want to be a hitter. Get a friend and pass back and forth if this gets to easy start peppering- you pass she sets than you hit then she passes you set she hits and repeat. I hope you make the team and have fun.

  9. wear comfy shorts NOT BLUES JEAN SHORTS not to big or long, tshirt, and sports bra, and good deodorant.

you can find sports clothes at Academy Sports and Outdoors, Hibbetts Sports, and Wal-mart even has some sports clothes

You should check to make sure the team your trying out for don't wear spandex shorts as part of their uniforms. The team I played on wore shorts that were a lot like spandex.
