What 2 wear in rome?

my flight is tomorrow, i live in a very hot country, so i'm not used 2 being cold, therefore i packed mini skirts and t shirts, and thought about taking a jean jacket; but now i'm wondering if it would be chilly in the evenings. what should i pack? thanx

It is turning cooler there now so you might want trousers and a jacket for the evenings.

I would forget the miniskirts.  T Shirts and jeans or slacks (khaki, linen, or similar) would be fine.  Pack a few sweaters and a nice jacket as well, for those cooler nights and rainy days.  

As mentioned, it is disrespectful to enter a church in Rome in a mini-skirt.  The  Vatican won't even let you into St. Peter's dressed like that and some of the other churches will ask you to leave or will deny you entry.  The requirements are that your shoulders and your knees be covered, for both sexes.  If that means capri pants and a tank top, fine, but you have to carry a sweater and put it on once you enter the church.

My daughter is there now going to school. She said it does get chilly in the PM. She brought a jean jacket , a leather jacket, coat sweater and a few heavier sweaters.She is there thru the end of Dec.  Right now the days have been in the 70"s. T's and jeans, mini skirts, leggins. The evening she puts on a sweater or jacket.

I would not suggest mini skirts or t-shirts.....for one, it just isn't classy and for another you will not be permitted into allot of churches like that.

You should probably look up the weather in Rome on the Internet and that will help you to decide what to pack...I'm not sure but I don't think mini skirts and t shirts are the best thing to wear in Rome...good luck and have fun!!!

Leave all your shirts, skirts, etc at home.  Just pack a couple togas.  You will be fine.
